Roll-out Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a driven Roll-out Engineer to lead the deployment of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across global manufacturing sites. In this role, you will ensure smooth roll-outs, support local stakeholders, and actively contribute to shaping scalable roll-out strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage MES roll-out projects end-to-end: site assessment, implementation, hypercare.

• Support stakeholders during roll-outs, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.

• Lead change management activities to secure successful adoption.

• Train key users and provide onboarding support.

• Coordinate hardware requirements and infrastructure readiness.

• Define and optimize global roll-out strategies for efficient scaling.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, production, development).

• Ensure quality of each roll-out (documentation, training, testing, post-go-live support).

Candidate profile

• You hold a degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering – or bring equivalent hands-on experience in Production IT technology.

• 3–5 years of experience in IT/IS within production environments.

• Strong analytical skills with a structured problem-solving approach.

• Proven experience with Agile and project-based work.

• Project management certification (asset).

• Knowledge of manufacturing systems (MES, WMS, APS, PLE) is a plus.

• Familiarity with SAP and SQL is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Willingness to spend up to 6 months in Belgium for onboarding and comfortable with international travel (30%).
