The internship:

The Brainsquare Team Coaches always have some interesting projects ready for your internship. You will do an internship in one of our teams of the Application Development department and experience a complete software engineering flow: you learn to code in an agile way, you help determine the sprints in which you deliver and you also learn to present what you have developed yourself.

• Project 1: Integrated DevOps & Dashboarding: you learn to build a completely new web module. You develop REST services and learn to create the most user-friendly experience as possible.
• Project 2: Montova Gateway Remote Admin:  designing and developing a graphical (web based) tool who manages Gateways worldwide. You learn to use Java Enterprise, with a framework of Atlassian tools: Jira, Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• Project 3: Operational insights: the goal of this project is to create a web application that can represent tasks, processes, ... in a visual way. You learn to build a completely new web module based on React. You learn to link these to a back-end application via REST services.
• Project 4: Integration of internal applications: work on automating multiple internal processes by connecting different internal applications. You'll create a system that heavily increases our productivity and replace manual bottleneck processes.

Conditions:

Every year, we offer a group of 3-5 motivated students an internship or graduation opportunity within Software Engineering. The conditions for an internship at Brainsquare:

• You study computer science, software engineering or programming at a Belgian university or college of higher education.
• The internship period takes place between January and June with a minimum of 60 days.
• The intern is preferably present 3 to 4 days a week at the Brainsquare HQ in Zaventem (to be determined in consultation).
