For nearly 25 years, Brainsquare has built partnerships with clients of all sizes, from mid-market to large companies. Today, we are 200+ people, with teams on three continents, providing value for our partners around the clock.
The spirit of our company mirrors how we treat our clients. We value our employees and clients alike as individuals and genuinely care about knowing their stories. We aspire to make Brainsquare a rewarding place to work, as we believe happy people working together may achieve greatness. Our entire team consists of strategic problem solvers who are creative and collaborative, and who take up each challenge with a positive attitude.
Integration Project Manager
Your mission:
As Integration Project Manager, you will get an essential role in a crack team that delivers integration services to a large international customer - Hybrid Work Schedule: Kontich (2d) - Zaventem (1d) - Home Office (2d).
You’ll be responsible for coaching and managing small sub-teams of technical experts in a managed services environment. You’ll work with tech-wizards, so ideally you have a technical background yourself. We do expect, in any case, that you have a genuine interest in technology and the ability to understand and present complex processes.
Foremost, we’d love you to be a team player and coach who infuses the team with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude. As we consciously build strong, long-lasting relations with our customers, we also expect you to be able to engage in a knowledgeable, constructive and friendly way with our customers’ people.
As an IPM, you collaborate and answer to the Service Delivery Manager who heads the team and who initiates the desired processes that you’ll help realize. Part of your task will be to translate these processes into sound projects and manage the teams to implement and deliver them. To do so, you will also brainstorm with the team, gather ideas, uncover gaps and risks, and relay these back to the Service Delivery Manager.
Your main tasks:
Specifically, as a project manager, your tasks will include:
Draw up project management plans, determining project deliverables, estimating timeline and setting the significant project milestones.
Manage project teams, including conducting stakeholder meetings, communication and coordination, analysis of updates and reports, and resource management.
Manage the project knowledge, combining existing information with newly acquired knowledge to accomplish the project goals in the best possible way. This includes making sure that everyone on the project team has the information they need to work in the most efficient but also agreeable way.
Monitor and control the project work, making sure that it follows the project plan according to such parameters as timing, scope, cost, quality, communication, procurement…
Job requirements
What we are looking for in you:
Foremost, we are looking for someone who combines the ‘human touch’ with a keen interest in complex information technology. This is a further list of the experience that we consider important for a good IPM:
You have ample experience with project management, especially the combination of the human factor in a complex, technical environment.
You are a good communicator. As much of your job will be in an international environment, you speak English fluently, Dutch and French is a plus.
You have experience in an enterprise environment, preferably in a large international company.
You are good at working in and with a team, including planning and managing the people working on your projects.
You preferably have experience with Swimlane diagrams, iDoc, EDI and Atlassian products (Jira (JQL) and Confluence).
You can add to the long-lasting relation we have with the customer; you have an eye for commercial opportunities.
You don’t mind working with people in different time zones, including occasional travel.
You know and have experience with scrum and agile processes
You might even have some experience with Order to Cash (O2C) and Procure To Pay (P2P) processes
What we offer:
We offer an attractive salary package, including:
A company car and fuel card
A mobile subscription
Partial refund of public transportation costs
A sound group insurance
A hospitalization insurance
Extra-legal holidays
A great diverse team with different backgrounds and skills.
Brainsquare is a company of lifelong learners. We pride ourselves on giving our employees extensive, continuous training, making them real experts in highly sought-after domains.
As an Integration Project Manager, you will of course get the flexibility and freedom to manage and organize your job autonomously, including partially working from home.
Why choose Brainsquare?
What probably makes us unique as an IT services company is the human touch. First among our values, we believe in real human contact as a basis for positive outcomes. We meet everyone eye-to-eye, with the intention of building strong, mutually supporting partnerships. With our customers, but also among our teams and employees. As a company, we are committed to being inclusive and diverse; we treat people as we expect them to treat us.
