Brainsquare India is part of Brainsquare Belgium, delivering high-quality integration and application services to European enterprise clients. You will join a growing offshore engineering team that works closely with senior architects and technical experts across Belgium and India.

Within our Integration Team, we focus on enabling seamless data exchange between systems and organizations. As an EDI Mapping Developer, you will play a key role in supporting and extending our EDI capabilities, working on real-world B2B integrations and customer-specific data flows.

You will collaborate with experienced integration engineers and stakeholders across multiple locations, contributing to the development, maintenance, and optimization of EDI mappings and processes.

Your Role

As an EDI Mapping Developer, you play a key role in ensuring smooth and reliable data exchange between Montova and its customers.

You are responsible for translating business requirements into technical EDI mappings and supporting the day-to-day operation of data flows. You work closely with integration engineers and stakeholders to deliver accurate, stable, and scalable integrations.

Your focus is on building, maintaining, and improving EDI mappings while proactively resolving issues and ensuring continuity of critical data exchanges.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyse and develop EDI mappings between internal systems and customer formats

• Work with common EDI standards such as EDIFACT, X12, XML, JSON

• Maintain and support data flows and integrations across multiple systems

• Troubleshoot issues related to EDI transmissions and mappings

• Support communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP

• Perform testing and validation of EDI messages and mappings

• Act as a point of contact for EDI-related incidents and questions

• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve issues efficiently

• Ensure quality and accuracy of delivered solutions

Your Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in EDI, integration, or data mapping

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12, XML, JSON)

• Basic understanding of EDI communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP)

• Experience in troubleshooting integration or data flow issues

• Comfortable working in a technical support and development environment

• Good communication skills in English

• Able to work in a structured and quality-driven way

Nice To Have

• Experience with mapping tools such as Altova MapForce / FlowForce

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

• Experience in B2B integration platforms

• Experience in B2B EDI environments (e.g. retail, logistics, supply chain) is considered a strong advantage

• Basic scripting knowledge
